Summer Intensives and Camps

We have designed our summer offerings to assist our dancers in achieving their dance goals!

Summer Break and Setbacks: If you take the entire summer off or only attend sporadic classes, be prepared to face significant setbacks. Studies show that dancers can lose up to 50% of their strength, stamina, placement, flexibility, and mental focus gained during the previous year. To make substantial progress over the summer, consider attending a summer intensive at Gotta Dance alongside regular classes. We are offering week long intensives from May through June and camps into July. Impact on Placement and Long-Term Goals: Your summer dance decisions can directly affect your placement level in the fall and even impact your long-term dance goals. It's essential to align your actions with your aspirations and understand the consequences of your choices. No Judgment, Just Awareness: There's no judgment here. Everyone has different goals and priorities when it comes to dance training. Whether you view dance as a hobby or aspire to Nutcracker leads, pointe shoes, college and/or a professional career, it's crucial to make informed decisions that align with your objectives. Ultimately, the choice is yours, and it's essential to consider how your decisions align with your dance aspirations. Understanding the implications of summer break on your progress is key.
Let's continue to support each other on our dance journeys and make choices that nurture our growth and fulfillment.

Fees include all materials needed including materials to make costumes and set as well as snacks daily. This camp is sure to sell out quickly, and we can only accept a certain amount per camp.  Kevin (Mr. K) LOVED working with the Gotta Dance! kids last year.
